Brutta notizia
Questo testo mi è arrivato via mail e c'è anche sul forum degli Zeonic.
Greetings,
This is your wonderful administrator Deacon with a public service announcement.
Testicles.
That is all.
Humor aside, I’m sure many of you have noticed our drifting away from the stage of releases. We’re slowly dying and I’m not sure why. I’m not sure the Gundam community is a receptive of our releases as they were in the past. While we do have the numbers and the fame, I’m beginning to wonder just how things will survive for us. I am committed to finishing off those dead projects, but finding the motivation to do said projects is slowly fading. I’m all about getting it out there, but I’m once again in the same pinch I always find myself in: projects everywhere and no one to help. I have picked up my jisho (dictionary) and started translating here and there, but there is only so much that I can accomplish. I’ve been bleeding from the eyes working on the Gundam Unicorn novel for my Japanese Independent Study (a la internship practicum), so other things just make me nauseous. Yes, I am translating Gundam Unicorn, but the only catch is that it cannot see the light of the internet (at least right now) because of educational constraints. At least that is what I was “threatened” with.
In the grand scheme of things, I guess I’m looking for more people who can help with things. Obligatory listing required:
** Editors: What I mean by editors is someone who can spruce things where needed and not just leave everything so literally worded when it is translated. It’s the same principle when fansubbing, adapting phrases to the surrounding situation.
** Photoshoppers: I know that I’ve had a surge of staffers over the course of the past year or so, but none of them can comprehend simple instructions of mimicry when given a test, nor do they seem to understand just what we’re looking for. Photoshopping is not the hardest thing in the world and does not require a lot of brain power, but you should have some experience somewhere. Newbies and beginners to the program need not apply.
** Translators: Ah yes, the core of the entire group. This group probably has two translators Kuma Gichou and myself) and two outsourced or contributing members (Darth_Blade and AthrunZERO). I’m looking for more people to help with the piling on of old projects to turn things around quickly and get us back up and running again. Now, I’m not complaining about translating here… I know if I’m so godly in my pathetic Japanese knowledge I should do it all myself.
I’m trying to save the group, but I’m not sure I can anymore. I’m still interested in this stuff, and I just wish I could release things in a timely fashion just to shut people up. I do have things done, I just… need to better manage my time and things around school and work to actually accomplish something.
As always, I am open to any and all ideas at this point. Please contact me if interested.

In pratica Deacon ha bisogno di nuovi editor, Photoshopper e traduttori. Dubita della possibilità che il gruppo rimanga in piedi.
Ora le mie considerazioni:
hanno 3 lavori su 00 da concludere, Frame Astray e Deacon vuole tradurre tutto Unicorn.... Se facessero una cosa per volta sarebbe molto meglio per me.....
